Hi Nino, Thanks for your reply. I originally wanted to use the JlinkScript to be called in the SES, and mainly want to set the PC of the risc-v to a specific value. But I don't know how to set the PC in the JlinkScript, please see my other post: How to set the PC in the jlinkscript Could you help give some ideas? BTW, does the Segger support some commands that can read/write CSR reigsters for RISC-V, such as mstatus, mpc, etc(Should I create another thread to inquiry such questions )? Many thanks,…

Hi segger experts, I'm working on a risc-v platform and using the reset strategy = 1 to reset the cpu. However, once doing that, the jlink could not access the core. 1、Using the latest jlink software, v7.68; 2、Connecting the SRST_N to the cpu core reset; 3、Using the jlink commander, set the reset strategy = 1, that using RESET pin; 4、Input the "r" to reset After doing the above steps, I can see the reset pin actively low with oscilloscope, but then it reports the error "****** Error: RISC-V: DMI…

Hi segger experts, Recently I encountered a problem that when I debug the program of the RAM target in the SES V6.32b, the program doesn't stop at main(). The reason is the PC value of the risc-v doesn't point to the _start at the begining. I need to click the "Restart" button every time and then it works fine. forum.segger.com/index.php/Attachment/5206/ Therefore, I wonder if there is a method that can set the PC of the risc-v to a specific value before "go" command execute, such as do some com…

Supplementary Instructions: Hi segger experts, I notice that the jlink cJtag accesses to core successfully, the ConfigTargetSettings() would be done before access core, but if choose my device from JlinkDevcices.xml, there has no such operation and the jlink cJtag can't access to the acore. Maybe that is reason. So could you point out what does the ConfigTargetSettings() do to risc-v core? forum.segger.com/index.php/Attachment/5155/ Thanks a lot, Gavin

Hi segger experts, Recently, I've met the following case and i've no idea to fix that, could you please help check that? Issue: If I choose the official RV32 as the device for my risc-v platform, then it can be accessed via Jlink-cJTAG; but if I define my own device name in the JLinkDevices.xml file, it cannot be accessed. Steps: 1. Select the official RV32 as the device. forum.segger.com/index.php/Attachment/5149/ 2. You could see my risc-v platform can be accessed via cJTAG.forum.segger.com/in…
