Hello, I have been using an NXP LPC2478 with J-Link for quite some time now. Things are working nicely. I like the fast download into internal flash and flash breakpoints. But now I am forced to use my external flash, which I originally wanted to use as data storage only, for code execution as well. This makes life much for difficult, I can no longer easily download from the debugger and can only set 2 breakpoints in the external flash. Is there any way to support my external CFI-compliant flash…

I have been playing a bit with STR912, J-Link and embOS. Works nicely, but since we are evaluating different tool chains: Is emBOS also available for STR912 and GNU ?

Souhail, can you give some hints on what needs to be changed to speed up the IAR flash loader ? I found that using a hub between J-Link and PC speeds up things, but all I get is like 6KB into flash with the original IAR flash loader. --Pete

What does this have to do with J-Link ??? Maybe the segger staff should try to have a separate division for GUI product ?
