  • Problem with J-link ARM v7

I rceived a problem when i tried to connect to target using J-link ARM v7 JTAG programmer.
On the J-Flash ARM v.4.20h I tried to connect to device(LPC 1766) via JTAG interface and received a following message:

    Connecting ...
    - Connecting via USB to J-Link device 2
    - J-Link firmware: V1.20 (J-Link ARM V7 compiled Sep 6 2010 10:43:31)
    - ERROR: No APB-AP found.
    - JTAG speed: 1000 kHz (Auto)
    - Initializing CPU core (Init sequence) ...
    - ERROR: Failed to connect

Probably someone knows what is the reason of error:
    - ERROR: No APB-AP found. ?

    ?
  • Hello,

did you try J-Link commander to verify that general communication with your device works?
Did it work before? If yes, when did it stop working?
Are you working with an eval board or your own hardware?
If you are working with your own hardware, could you please verify the functionality of
your J-Link on a eval board which has the same device on it?

    Best regards
    Alex
