Breakpoint is ignored while debugging

  • Breakpoint is ignored while debugging

    Î want to debug code on ADuC70xx with RDI and Keil µVision 3.8. I set only one breakpoint in the code. When I start the debug session the code will be started, but It does not halt at the breakpoint. I know that the code is running, because I see it on signals on an oscilloskop. What can be the reason for this behaviour?

  • Hi Samuel,

    did you halt the CPU in the debugger and check where the PC is set to?
    Should it have reached the breakpoint, according to the address in the application the PC is set when the CPU is halted?
