  • Reg Bad JTAG communication Error

    Hi,
I have been using JTag emulator for AT91RM9200 board for quite some time, it was working fine.
But now suddenly there is error when programming the flash. It is connecting to the target without any error, but when trying to program or read back flash it displays the error as "Bad JTag Communication: write to IR: Expected 0x1, got 0x3(Tag command: 4)@0ff 0x1c22.Timeout while checking Target RAM, core does not stop. Failed to program target."
Please let me know what could be the problem. Any suggestion could be of great help.

    Thanks,
    Neeraja.
  • You should read Chapter 9 "Support and FAQs" of the J-Link manual.
It may be a hardware problem, so you could check the signal quality with a scope.
    Also try slower JTAG speed.

    Hope this helps.
