    I'm having issues halting the core on a locosto based device. I can see the taps but can't for some reason halt/reset it.

    SEGGER J-Link Commander V4.14a ('?' for help)
    Compiled Apr 21 2010 20:54:48

    Firmware: J-Link ARM V8 compiled Dec 1 2009 11:42:48
    Hardware: V8.00

    Feature(s) : FlashBP, FlashDL, GDB
    Info: TotalIRLen = 15, IRPrint = 0x0D49
    VTarget = 1.786V
    Found 3 JTAG devices, Total IRLen = 15:

    Has anyone come across the IceCrusher module before? In this specific device the nTRST line isn't broken out so its supposed to be able to halt via the IceCrusher module.

  • Hi cmw,

    could you please be a bit more specific in what the problem is?
    In the output of J-Link commander, you postet, I do not see any problems.
    The JTAG chain is recognized correctly (3 devices with one 1 ARM core), so everthing should work fine.

    Do go/halt/basic RAM read/write functions via J-Link commander work?

    Best regards
    Alex
