  • [SOLVED] JLink with RX65N

    Hi ,
I'm not able to debug rx65n with JLink Ultra+. I'm using IAR embedded workbench for compilation.
I tried updating to latest frimware but still it shows device not supported.
    Please Help on this.

    Regards
    Sathish Kumar
  • Hello Sathish,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
What error message are you getting?
What target device are you trying to debug exactly?
Is it a custom board or an eval board?
How are you connecting to your target? Are you using JTAG or FINE?
Does a connect work when using the J-Link Commander? wiki.segger.com/J-Link_cannot_…ty_using_J-Link_Commander

    Best regards,
    Nino

  • JLink with RX65N

    Hi Nino,

Sorry for the late reply. I was busy with other tasks.

    Here are the details.
Target Processor : R5F565NEHDFP (RX65N renesas micro controller)

I'm not able to find this micro in the Jlink MCU database selection.

Please let me know if there is support for this MCU or if not when will there be a support given for this MCU.
  • Hello Sathish,

You are correct, the -C and -E derivatives are not yet supported.
