  • [SOLVED] Atmel SAM-ICE debugging Issue

    We have connected the SAM-ICE to ATSAMV71Q21 evaluation board.

    And configured the eclipse settings as attached.

    We are facing following issue after configuration.

    Error in services launch sequence
    Starting J-Link GDB Server timed out.

    Thank you for your inquiry.
    Such an issue is not known to us.
    Generally the target connections from GDBServer seems to be working so it looks like a GDBClient setup error.
    More information on how to set up Eclipse to work with J-Link can be found here: segger.com/products/debug-prob…/technology/ides/eclipse/

    For further support regarding the SAM-ICE please get into contact with Microchip as support for that debug probe is handled by them.
    This thread will be closed now as the issue is neither J-Link hardware nor J-Link software related.
