  • [SOLVED] Flasher ARM & JFlash V6.xx standalone pb

    Hello,

I use a FLASHER ARM v3 probe to flash our prototypes in standalone mode (files .DAT, .CFG, FLASHER.INI)
If I generate the previous files with JFlashARM V4.66a, it works well.

But since JFlash V6.xx, my probe failed to parse generated config file.
I can see the following logs:

    #STATUS:INITIALIZING
    #ERR255:Failed to parse config file
    #ERR255:Error while flashing

Is there a way to use the latest JFlash V6.30i with my probe ?

    Thanks
  • Hello,

    Thank you for your inquiry.
Flasher v3 is no longer maintained and is not compatible to the current J-Link software.
Excerpt form V6.00 release log: "J-Flash cfg file format has been made INCOMPATIBLE to older Flasher firmwares (HW version <= V3) !!!!"

To use current J-Link software you will need to use a new Flasher.
