  • [SOLVED]Support for NXP LH7-Devices

    Hello,
I'm planning a board which uses a NXP LH79520 ARM720-Processor. I have a J-Link (an older Version), and my question is: is it possible to debug using IAR EWARM, Segger J-Link and this LH79520? I also have a J-Flash License; is it possible to download code to the external FLASH memory?
I hope you can help me, thanks in advance!
  • Hi MRT,

Yes, the LH79520 is supported by J-Link (since it is a simple ARM7 core).
Debugging via IAR should also be no problem.
Yes, J-Flash supports download into external flash memory.

    Only limitation:
Currently the flash loaders of the J-Link DLL do not support download into external flash memory.

    Best regards
    Alex
