  • [SOLVED] J-Link Command-Line "erase if necessary"

I try to use my J-Link via Command-Line Interface. In the actual version I'm using controller STM AT91SAM7S256-AU-001. There are two possible situations. First the controller is empty, than the programmer should start programming immediately . Second possible situation is, that there are some datas in the controller, so the programmer should delete the controller before programming.
Is there a command to do this? Something like "Eraseifnecessary"?
Actual I'm deleting the controller every time before programming. This takes about 25s to do!

    Any hints welcome

  • Hi Werner,

could you please give to most recent version of the J-Link software & documentation pack a try?

The software does only erase if necessary if not told otherwise per default.

Could you please provide a screenshot of the settings tab of the J-Link control panel?

    Best regards,
    Niklas
