  • [SOLVED] Can't connect to J-Link after software update

    Hello!

I updated the J-Link software from version 6.10i to version 6.14b. After starting the JLink Commander, the firmware of my JLink-EDU was updated and I can't connect to it anymore. Replugging the JLink and removing the USB-isolator didn't help. Lukily it is still working with the older version.
    Here is the terminal output:

  • Hi,

we had some (~5) reports regarding this, but we could not reproduce it here.
Would it be possible for you to provide us with a VM of a system where the issue occurs?

    Best regards,
    Niklas

  • Hi,

    thanks for providing the image!
We could reproduce the issue, and it will be fixed in the next release of the J-Link software & documentation pack.
The issue was introduced with V6.13g / V6.14, therefore versions up to V6.12j and V6.13f should work for you until a fixed version is available.

    Best regards,
    Niklas
