  • [SOLVED/OR] How to access functionalities of Control Panel (available only from Windows) on Mac or Linux?

JLink control panel is available from Windows' system tray when JLink debugger starts.
How to access the control panel or its functionalities from Mac or Linux, which doesn't have system tray?
  • Hi,

the the J-Link control panel is currently only available under Windows.
Most of its functionality is also available under Linux / macOS by using J-Link Commander commands or J-Link Command strings, which are both documented in UM8001.

We intend to improve the functionality available under Linux / macOS by making (parts) of the J-Link Control panel available via a local webserver (in the near future) and by porting the control panel to all platforms if the webserver feature turns out to be not sufficient (later this year).

    Best regards,
    Niklas
