  • [SOLVED] J-Flash v5 and v6 problems with EFM32 project

    Hi,

I just updated my J-Flash version from v512j to v612a (indeed we are not using it a lot but every now and then) the problem is when I open the same project in v612a and try to flash (auto program) my device I get the following error message:

    - Connecting via USB to J-Link device 0
    - Chip unsecured successfully - Completed after 0.157 sec
Checking if selected data fits into selected flash sectors.
Auto programming target (61621 bytes, 1 range) ...
    - Connecting ...
    - Connected successfully
    - Start of preparing flash programming
    - End of preparing flash programming
    - Start of determining dirty areas in flash cache
    - End of determining dirty areas
    - CPU speed could not be measured.
    - Start of erasing sectors
    - Erasing range 0x00000000 - 0x00003FFF (008 Sectors, 16 KB)
    - Erasing range 0x00004000 - 0x00007FFF (008 Sectors, 16 KB)
    - Erasing range 0x00008000 - 0x0000BFFF (008 Sectors, 16 KB)
    - End of erasing sectors
    - ERROR: Erase failed
    - ERROR: Failed to auto program target
    Disconnecting ...
    - Disconnected

When I do the auto programming with v512j it works correctly and my target is programmed without any problems. See attachment for the project I use.

    Any clue?
