  • [ANSWERED] is stand-alone mode supported for Flasher RX Renesas R5F5631Y?

    Hello,

I have Segger flasher rx jtag programmer. I am trying to program R5F5631Y MCU. I can program using USB connection and JFlash software. However, I couldnt manage it using stand-alone mode. The console says:

    $FW: Entering standalone mode... OK
    #STATUS:INITIALIZING
    #STATUS:CONNECTING
#ERR255:Cannot connect to CPU. Target interface speed too high?
    #ERR255:Error while flashing

I have prepared the config file and download it to the flasher correctly.

is stand-alone mode supported for Flasher RX Renesas R5F5631Y? If so, what is the problem.

    Thanks in advance!
  • Hi,

The Renesas R5F5631Y device series is currently listed as "not supported" in stand-alone mode: segger.com/jlink_supported_devices.html?m=Renesas#sel
Improving the stand-alone support of Renesas RX devices is already on our internal ToDo, but without a fixed release date yet.

    Best regards,
    Niklas
