  • j-link (It doesn't work properly)

Hello! It is impossible to force to work for me JTAG adapter j-link for the speed more than 32kHz. Prompt what to do.
    Thankful in advance.

  • Hello jedi,

the AT91SAM7X starts with 32 kHz CPU clock after reset (slow clock, internal oscillator)
and the hardware version V3 of J-Link ARM can not handle JTAG speeds for AT91SAM7X
which are much higher than the CPU speed.

The easiest way to use higher JTAG speeds is to use a macrofile which switches the clock source to the main oscillator.

    Best regards,
    Alex
