So far, this is not supported in J-Scope. It is already on our internal ToDo but for now without any fixed timeline.
If this feature is required urgently, we would recommend our J-Link SDK which allows to create customized applications using the J-Link API.

I would also find it great if float support gets added, it would be great for plotting measurements from sensors etc in the proper scaling.

floats are already supported in our internal pre-release version, which is planned for release later this year.
Until then, available workarounds are:

• Periodically store the float variable to be sampled in an integer variable (with a multiplier of 10^X if the first X fractional digits are of interest)
• Store the float variable in an integer by typecast and use the raw data export function of J-Scope if you want to use the data in a third-party program.
• J-Link SDK (Part No 8.08.06 on the price list).

Is it implemented only for the "pick symbol from ELF" method or also via RTT, because I found no hint on how I would send a float using RTT?
