  • J-Link to program Silicon Labs SIM3C1XX ARM controllers

    Hi,

I want to program Silicon Labs SIM3C134 32 bit ARM using the SWD interface. I am using Silicon Labs Precision32 as the IDE. It does not recognize the device and I don't know if it even recognizes the J-Link. Can anyone tell me the best way to do this? Maybe use one of the J-Link standalone programs with a HEX file?

    thanks
  • Hi,

The SIM3C134 is supported by J-Link, so you should be able to use them.
You can check whether the connection in general works by starting J-Link commander. (JLink.exe -device SIM3C134 -if SWD -speed 1000)
It looks like the Precision32 IDE does not support J-Link, does it?

To program the application for test purposes you can use J-Link commander (command loadfile),
for production J-Flash (segger.com/jflash.html ) should be used.

    Best regards
    Johannes
