    hi.
    I have to program the board which I designed (NXP lpc 1788) the problem was shocked by jlink..But when I connect it give the following error:
    Connecting ...
    - Connecting via USB to J-Link device 0
    - J-Link firmware: V1.20 (J-Link ARM V8 compiled Jul 17 2014 12:31:18)
    - JTAG speed: 30 kHz (Fixed)
    - Initializing CPU core (Init sequence) ...
    - Initialized successfully
    - JTAG speed: 1000 kHz (Auto)
    - ERROR: Wrong AHB ID (15:3). Expected 0x04770001 (Mask 0x0FFFFF0F), Found 0x00000007
    - WARNING: Failed to measure CPU clock frequency
    - ERROR: Failed to connect
    what is my problem and what should I do? :( :( ?( ?(

    - ERROR: Failed to connect
    What is this error and what should I do? ?( ?( ?( ?( ?( ?(
  • Hi,

    According to your posts, you are working with a custom hardware.
    Can you please try the same J-Link on an LPC1788 eval board?
    (I am pretty sure you have one in house since usually when designing custom hardware you have a working reference eval board)

    Could you please give J-Link Commander a try and post a screenshot of the output?
    (Comes with the same package as J-Flash which you are currently using)
