  • Flaser ARM, When use as Standalone mode, sometimes nReset signal is unstable

    Hi

    I'm using the Flasher ARM at STM32L152VC MCU applied products.

    When I use it standalone mode, most times, It works well. but, sometimes nReset signal is not comeout from Flasher.

    Especially, When I download binary again at binary burnt board , always fail. Of course, No nReset signal comeout from Flaher.

    Please, could you tell me the solution for this problem?

    I use SWD connection between Flaher and Targetboard.

  • Hi,

    For a normal system reset, the reset signal is not used on Cortex-M devices.
    The reset is done via software.

    The reset signal is only used for cases where a "connect under reset" needs to be done because the debug logic
    cannot be longer accessed via software (and so a software initiated reset would also not work)
