DS-5 and JLINK JTAG ICE

  • DS-5 and JLINK JTAG ICE

    Hi,

    I install latest JLINK Ultra driver, and installer also detects DS-5 tools chain at the end for me to check the box.

    But when I configure target connection in DS-5 debugger, I don't see any option to select JLINK JTAG ICE. I can select either RVI or DSTREAM JTAG ICE without problem though.

    How/what do I need to do to use JLINK JTAG ICE in DS-5 tools environment? Is there any DS-5 sample/tutorail project for JLINK JTAG ICE I can download and study?

    See UM08001 (J-Link User Guide), chapter "Setup" => "Getting started with J-Link and ARM DS-5"

    DS-5 is not really designed to support debug probes from 3rd parties...
