  • Need support for Freescale MKW01Z128CHN

    Hello,

We are developing with the Freescale Kinetis ARM Cortex M0+, P/N MKW01Z128CHN. The device is identical to the MKL25Z128xxx4 (Freecale Kinetis ARM Cortex M0+).

Is it possible in the next software update to explicitly support this chip? We are still trying to connect over Segger J-Link with no success... Don't know yet if it is the -device paramter.

    thank you,
    Joel

  • The J-Link connects to the MKW01 but doesn't want to flash...

As far as I can tell the Flash Memory Module (FTFA) and memory map are identical on the MKL25 and the MKW01. I'm still using "reset type 6".

Are there any magic numbers that need to be set in the J-Link flasher?

  • Hi,

    We will check/verify this.
If it is really the same, it can be added short term.
But experience says: No Kinetis device is like the other :)
