  • [SOLVED]"Error: DBGEN is not asserted" with J-Link and BeagleBoard

    Hello,

I've tried to use J-Link to flash BeagleBoard rev.B4 with cpu OMAP3530 (Cortex a8 core).
On PC I have Ubuntu 11.10 so I installed drivers for jlink on linux (use V4.41g).

Firstly, as I wrote in my previous post I take error about low supply voltage level.
After making simple converter from ARM 14-pin JTAG to TI 14-pin JTAG this error disappear.

But now I take new error:

Can you say what cause this problem?
  • Hi,

Currently, a so-called J-Link script file (see UM08001, chapter 5.10) is needed for the BeagleBoard.
These script files are not part of the Linux package yet, we are working on this.
Please find attached the script file. Rename it to Default.JLinkScript and place it in the same direction where J-Link Commander (JLinkExe) is located.
You should be in business now.

    Best regards
    Alex
