  • [ABANDONED] JLink overwriting RAM of STM32

    Hi,

I connect JLink to STM32 MCU and use SWD ports for serial communication. I write some bytes into SRAM using JLink command line interface.
Once I disconnect and reconnect JLink, the bytes written in SRAM are overwritten. I am sure that my software is not doing any such thing.

I tried different options in linker file to freeze memory data, but nothing is working.

Am I missing something or is this an inbuilt feature of JLink ?

Thanks for the help in advance
  • Hi,

I am not aware of this "feature".

Can you please tell me which target mcu you are using, and provide me detailed instructions on how to reproduce this issue?
(Which ram address do you write, how do you read it back, etc....)

    Best regards,
    Niklas
